🦅 Renewed Like the Eagle
Share
There is a moment every tired soul reaches — when the striving stops working and strength runs dry. It's in that exact moment that God's promise of renewal becomes most precious. Not renewal through more effort, but renewal through waiting on Him — a supernatural exchange where our weakness meets His strength and something soars.
Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) says:
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."
Waiting here is not passive. It is an active posture of trust, expectation, and hope directed toward God. And the result is extraordinary — strength that mounts up, that soars above circumstances instead of being buried beneath them.
Psalm 103:5 (KJV) echoes this promise:
"Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's."
Renewal is God's specialty. He does not simply patch up tired hearts; He renews them, restores their youth and vigor, gives them wings where before there was only weariness.
If you are weary today — worn from striving, worn from carrying, worn from waiting for things to change — lift your eyes. The One who renews strength is near, and He is not finished with you. Wait on Him, and watch how you rise.
